• Are you fully insured?

  Yes — GPD Property Service Ltd carries £1 million public liability insurance covering every project we undertake.

• Do you offer free estimates?

  Absolutely. We provide free, no-obligation estimates in writing. Most quotes are turned around within 48 hours of our visit.

• What areas do you cover?

  South West London and Surrey, including Fulham, Chelsea, Putney, Battersea, Wandsworth, Wimbledon, Richmond, Kingston, New Malden, Surbiton, Teddington, Esher and Weybridge. You can view our full coverage area on our Areas page.

• How long does a typical project take?

  It depends on scope — a single room typically takes 2 to 4 days, while a full property refurbishment ranges from 2 to 6 weeks. We'll give a firm timeline with your quote.

• What paints do you use?

  We work with the finest trade paints including Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Dulux Trade, Zinsser and Tikkurila, selected for each substrate and finish.

• Do you protect our furniture and floors?

  Yes — comprehensive protection is standard. We move or cover furniture, mask floors and manage dust throughout the job.

• Can you help with colour choice?

  Of course. We're happy to advise on colour, sheen and finish, and can source sample pots for you to test before we begin.

• Do you work out of hours for commercial clients?

  Often, yes — by prior arrangement. We know decorating can get in the way of running a business, so for commercial projects we'll talk the schedule through with you and, where the work and our availability allow, fit around your opening hours, including evenings or weekends. It's always agreed in advance rather than assumed.

• Do you guarantee your work?

  We take a lot of pride in how a job is finished, and we want you to be pleased with it long after we've left. If anything isn't right with our workmanship, just get in touch — we'll come back, take a look and put it right.
